About the Presenter
Erik McCormick, a seasoned aviator and aviation real estate expert, brings a wealth of experience to his presentations at Sun 'n Fun. With a twin rating and extensive time in the 500 Shrike Twin Commander, Erik is the son of Jack "Baja 1" McCormick of the Baja Bush Pilots. His professional accomplishments include founding Aviation Real Estate Specialists, publishing AviationRealEstate.com, creating the Aviation Home and Hangar Map, and developing HangarFAST.com. As the airport manager at 6AZ2 in Arizona and with over 20 years in aviation real estate, Erik offers unique insights into the industry. He's a regular presenter at major aviation events, volunteers for the FAA's "Wings and FAASTeam" program, and specializes in aircraft hangar sales, airpark runway home sales, and commercial hangar leases. Erik's expertise is further enhanced by his personal experience of owning a 365-acre ranch with its own runway, making him a trusted authority in the aviation real estate niche.
